GATORADE | SWEAT UNITES US

A production that was approached in a different way. A complete remote set up and while there was an aligned brief, we gave our Directors free reign to shoot footage of two groups of friends, capturing them in the sports that unites them.

The two films below is the result of that. Fresh, authentic and vibrant pieces of work that showcase a great way for the brand to credibly connect beyond traditional athletes and into broader sporting communities.

GATORADE | G.O.A.T.ORADE

Lionel Messi - The GOAT. On the evening that Leo was going to be announced an eight time Ballon d’Or, we wanted to send him a gift.

We spoke with the first football club he played for - Grandoli in Rosario, Argentina - and sampled some of the soil from the first pitch he played on and crafted a golden Gatorade trophy bottle with the soil part of the base.


7UP | UP & UP

This campaign for PepsiCo’s brand 7UP saw a deliverable list that exceeded 850 assets. A global campaign that was required for various markets and lived across multiple platforms and media spaces.

Shot in Cape Town and through a radical collaboration between two Directors of two very unique disciplines - the talented Josh Cohen through OB Management, combined with the flawless macro product shots from Olaf van Gerwen at Chuck Studios - we created a special campaign for 7UP.


ASICS | DON’T RUN, FLY

When Asics launched its new Flytefoam campaign, they celebrated a new innovation in Asics shoes that uses organic fibres for better performance giving runners the perfect combination of lightness and protection. The global campaign aims to inspire and educate every runner to get faster. The simple message is with Asics Flytefoam, 'Don't run, fly'.

With the combination of a technology partner, advertising, retail, events and mobile, the campaign is brought to life with an online film, print, ooh and digital advertising executions that showcase some of Asics athletes including world record breaking sprinter Candace Hill from the US and German triathlete and Iron Man World Champion Jan Frodeno in a dramatic demonstration of what speed can feel like and what it means to ‘fly'.


ARSENAL FC | PREPARATION

BBH Sport had an opportunity to work with Arsenal Football Club to give the public a peak behind the curtain into what goes into the preparation at a Premier League football club.

Everything from the training grounds, dressing and physio rooms, gyms and swimming pools. We document behind the scenes at London Colney facility culminating with a word from The Professor himself, Mr Arsene Wenger.

Directed by Chris Thomas through Smuggler Films at the time and superbly narrated by Mark Strong, who is a lifelong Arsenal fan.


ROBINSONS | FRUIT SHOOT

A beautifully crafted spot that uniquely uses music & sound to drive the edit. This commercial showcases kids being kids, adventurous and quenching their thirst with a Fruit Shoot. Shot in London and directed by Sam Pilling through Pulse Films.


LAYS | APARTMENT ARENA

As their sponsorship with the UEFA Champions League, Lay’s looks to bring match-day excitement and camaraderie home with new creative featuring six-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi, world champion Paul Pogba and UEFA Women’s Player of the Year 2017 Lieke Martens.

A kick of the football from the GOAT into a projector moves to reflect onto a building in the neighborhood, causing those who are watching in their living rooms to come out to their balcony and watch together. Messsi opens up a bag of Lay's triggering Pogba to reach out from the projected screen during match introductions to snag a chip from him, uniting not only the community but also the players making Lay's "the perfect match."

This spot was directed by Jack Driscoll through Academy Films. Shot in Barcelona.


RFU | WE CALL IT RUGBY

Rugby. A sport for everyone. This spot that follows a diverse cast of real people playing the sport they love. The search for the right characters went up and down the UK, speaking to a number of grassroots rugby clubs.

This lovely little film shows the inclusivity of the sport, trying to increase the interest and giving confidence for anyone who wants to play the game to get involved.

Beautifully shot and directed by the talented Niall O’Brien through Academy Films.


REFUGE | GIVE THEM REFUGE

A difficult but important subject. A quite harrowing spot executed brilliantly by Sing J Lee through Partizan Films.


GORDONS GIN | HERITAGE

Shot at their distillery in Scotland, a mockumentary takes you through the history and heritage of Gordan’s Gin.

QATAR AIRWAYS | PREMIUM

The follow up film from The World Like Never Before. A commercial that focusses on the experience that travellers feel if they choose to travel in Premium Class with Qatar Airways. From the moment you enter the Hamad International Airport, to when you walk out of the plane at your destination, every conceivable detail is thought of. Another Ben Scott / RSA Films project.

KFC | WISE WORDS

British comedian and actor Steve Furst uses his unique talents to VO a series of very different animated characters. It’s finger lickin’ good.

PLAYSTATION | PLAYLINK

The launch of PlayStation’s Playlink. This commercial showcases how you can play games using your mobile phone with your friends. Snap, draw, tilt and sing your way to victory! Includes games such as Hidden Agenda, SingStar Celebration and Knowledge is Power launch today, while That's You!

GOOGLE PLAY | TAKE THAT

Another well crafted animation celebrating the release of Take That’s album “III”. The films take fans back through some of the most iconic and nostalgic moments of the legendary boy band.
